Alternative Teacher Preparation Program in Special Education for Provisionally Certified Teachers - Tooele Campus

This program offers special education certification with a mild/moderate endorsement for 25 individuals per year. To be eligible for this program, participants must have a bachelor’s degree (a teaching degree is NOT required) from an accredited college or university and be employed in an approved special education setting serving students with mild/moderate disabilities. Training includes academic coursework taken concurrently with supervised field-based experiences. Applications are available in May for the following academic year and are due July 1^st.
