New Popular E-Book Section from the USU Libraries
Reading has been found to be the best way to relax and even as little as six minutes has been found to reduce stress levels by two thirds. As we approach the end of the semester, your nose might be buried in your textbook. If you are looking for a way to cut through the stress of the upcoming finals week, try putting down the textbook for a little while and picking up a book that is a little more fun.
The USU libraries has a new e-book and audio book collection which is comprised of popular reading titles and best sellers. With books like "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", "The Help", and "The Lightning Thief" there is certainly something for everyone. Taking a few moments away from "Statistics: Methods and Applications" to read "Eat, Pray, Love" can't be a bad thing, and it has been shown to ease tension in muscles and the heart.
You can browse or search the collection to find some summer reading on the library's Overdrive website and download these books right to your favorite E-Reader. If there are books that you would like added to the collection, please contact Britt Fagerheim, RCDE librarian.
If you need help downloading books onto your device, you can read the library's Overdrive guide.
